letterboxes in Portland Oregon

I will be visiting Portland Oregon in October for a convention and
would like to know if there are any boxes located in the downtown
area? I will be sticking close to the hotel (Mariott) since we won't
have a rental car.

Any suggestions?

There are LOTS of letterboxes in Portland, Oregon. Several downtown and lots
more accessible using our MAX system. I'll email you off list to give you
some ideas.

My number one suggestion is a trip to the Oregon Zoo. It is on the
light rail system, easily accessible from downtown and has it's own
very cool underground train station. There are several boxes in the
Zoo itself and others in the Arboretum, right next door. Enjoy! Funhog

MAX is the name of the light rail system in Portland. Or as my kids
call it, the "quiet choo-choos." Google Tri-met and you should be
able to find everything you need to know about it.
